The Mystery Colour Bag is great for first introducing a colour.
Collect items of the colour you are learning together in a bag. They can be toys, kitchen utensils, clothing or just about anything you can let the kids touch and explore. You don't have to include a huge bag of things, 6 things is enough.
Have the children pull items out of the bag one at a time and emphasize their colour. My kids really enjoy the surprise of finding out what is in the bag.
