Prayers and Peanut Butter

If you are a Christian mother and in need of some encouragement I highly recommend this book called Prayers and Peanut Butter by Barbara Classen.

Sing, Spell, Read & Write Pre-Kindergarten

I would think that the very first academic schooling a child should get is to learn how to read! Once a child knows how to read, he can learn anything else he wants to. It really is a foundation to all other learning, academically anyway. So when I began thinking about homeschooling my kids, the very first thing I went in search of was a good phonics program.

Ninja Master Prep Blender Review

This is my ninja blender.

It was a great blender and could handle pretty much anything. I used it for anything from blending soups into cream soups, making baby food, even to grinding coffee beans and blending grated soap into a fine powder.
Most of all, I use it for making smoothies and in the summer months I really use it a lot. I switched from using all fruit (with a milk or juice base) to using half fruit and half ice (with a milk or juice base) to keep more hydrated.
It has always been able to handle anything I've thrown at it and can make a thicker smoothie than most other blenders that I've seen making smoothies.

Flip Cloth Diaper Review

Flip diapers are my favourite. I get the one-size cover with velcro closures. The ones below are the colours I have. The left 3 are brand new and the right 3 are a year and a half old. I did replace the velcro on them after a year, and otherwise they still work great.

GroVia Cloth Diaper Review

GroVia diapers are pretty good. I've used the one-size hybrid GroVia diaper with velcro closures for a year and a half now and I really like them. They come in a variety of adorable colours and designs, are one size so they fit a wide range of sizes from newborn until the child is potty trained, and they are very easy to use. They are however, much more expensive than some of the alternatives. I bought my first ones brand new, and after that only added to my collection because I found some barely used at a good price through Kijiji.
