Learning Colours with Colouring Pages

Colouring pictures is a great way to learn colours.


I usually have them do a colouring page right after the Mystery Colour Bag when learning a new colour. I set out a bunch of crayons, markers, and pencil crayons all of that same colour and let them colour the page.

In the picture above, we are using a work page from Sing, Spell, Read & Write for learning green.

There's a great colouring page of fruit and vegetables in the six main colours found on the bird feed nyc. You can use it for counting practice as well and count each kind of fruit.
