He cut a trench around the outside, put gravel in and leveled it. Then he put in the wooden forms and nailed them together.
He nailed up crosses which we will put strings across when the raspberry plants get bigger to help hold them up. And he filled it with soil. It has been surprising how much bigger the plants have gotten this summer. They grew a lot and I expect we'll have raspberries on the new growth next summer. We plan to put mulch in on top of the soil to help keep it moist.
