Learning Colours with a Food Flyers Train

My kids love trains so they really enjoy this project. Each time we learned a new colour, we'd add a new train car to the wall.

First, prepare by cutting each train car out of construction paper for each colour that we would be learning. 

Sometimes I cut pictures out of the flyer ahead of time and sometimes we'd look through a flyer together for the colour we were learning and circle the pictures we found. I tried to focus on the fruits and vegetables section.

Cut out the pictures and let the child glue them onto the train.

Hang each one on the wall as it is completed for a longer and longer train.
