Prominent Moth: Notodonta Torva

This fuzzy moth was found on the wall of our house. I thought at first that it must be a Tussock Moth, but it turns out to have been a Prominent Moth. Both generally have fuzzy forelegs.

I wish I could have seen the larva. It is very interesting with a hard smooth head that is white with black spots. As well as ringed spots and a bright orange bump on its tail.
